A gift break is a great way to explore the north of England or Scotland

For any couple who enjoy the chance to get away from their daily routine and spend a little quality time together, an overnight break makes a great gift idea.  With a variety of fantastic places to stay in Scotland or the North of England and the choice of a traditional inn or the chance to stay on a farm, there is something to suit everyone's idea of a good time.

Anyone who has been to the North of England or Scotland will know that there are an array of different landscapes and evidence of the variety of their cultural heritage which is obvious to visitors today, making every area unique.

You can walk in the footsteps of our Roman ancestors along the Hadrian's Wall trail path, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Lake District where any wildlife enthusiast can spot some of the local flora and fauna or take a tour around a whiskey distillery in Scotland and learn all about the ancient art behind the delicious drink.

Wherever you choose to visit, there are a selection of farms and traditional inns to stay in making it a real chance to get away from the rigours of 'normal' life and relax in welcoming surroundings where you will be made to feel at home from the moment you step through the door.

Please note - Farm breaks include breakfast, and are not available on bank or school holidays.  Inn breaks do not include breakfast and are available on selected dates throughout the year.
