Terms and Conditions

Please read this page carefully before purchasing your activity voucher or product. These terms and conditions form the basis of a contract between us (Activity Superstore trading as Gift Ideas For Two), and you (the purchaser and/or any subsequent recipient of the voucher or product).

Obtaining Your Purchase

GIFT sells products ("Products") and issues face value vouchers ("Vouchers"). Vouchers entitle the Holder to choose, up to the value stated on the Voucher, one of a range of activities supplied by Gift Ideas For Two and as sold on and provided by selected suppliers.

Vouchers and products purchased from via the internet will be issued directly by us or a third party supplier to the purchaser or, on the purchaser's direction, to another person nominated by him ("the Holder").


All purchases are sent out first class Royal Mail delivery as standard. Purchases can only be delivered to a UK postal address and bought with credit card that is registered to a UK postal address. Please allow 3-5 working days on all experience day vouchers, gifts and personalised gifts. There is the option to send recorded delivery at £3.90 and Special Delivery at £7.50 for experience day vouchers only.

All experience day voucher orders totalling over £200 will be sent out via Special Delivery, free of charge.

Voucher Validity

Please check the season of any intended experience, as this may be shorter than the Voucher validity. You will find the expiry date printed on the Voucher. You must book and complete your experience prior to the expiry date, please note booking lead times apply. If you are unable to use your Voucher within the validity period, the Voucher can be extended for a period of up to six months (excluding promotional vouchers).

A Voucher can only be extended once and must be done while the voucher is valid. A £20 administration fee is payable if you choose to extend your validity. Extended or Exchanged Vouchers cannot be refunded.

Choosing Your Experience

You may use your Voucher to book any† of the experiences from our GIFT website. If you have not already been provided with a Voucher for the type of experience you are interested in, or wish to change to another experience type, contact us on the email address on our website. If appropriate, your original Voucher will be replaced.

Please note once a date has been booked with an Experience provider your Voucher is no longer available for an exchange, extension or refund and will be deemed to be used at that point. All starter kits are deemed to be used once validated.

Exchanging Your Voucher

A Voucher can be exchanged only once for another Voucher†, up to the face value stated on it and subject to the restrictions below, without incurring a fee.

A difference will be payable if the chosen experience costs more than the face value of your original Voucher and the value of your Voucher will be increased. If your chosen experience is cheaper, we will hold the difference as a credit against another experience. In this case, the credit holds the same expiry date as the original Voucher. The credit cannot be used to pay for the cost of an extension or an exchange. An administration fee of £20 will be charged for a second and final exchange, (as no more than two exchanges in total are permitted). The exchanged Voucher will carry the same expiry date as the original purchased Voucher. You are not able to combine or merge Vouchers together.

If you wish to combine or merge more than one Voucher together, as part of the exchange process, then this can be arranged however subject to the following restrictions; you can merge no more than two Vouchers together; if the Vouchers have different expiry dates then the earlier expiry date is taken forward onto the replacement Voucher, not the later date; only Vouchers purchased from the same retail chain or website may be merged together; and you may not merge any Vouchers previously merged or exchanged.

†Please note; Vouchers cannot be exchanged to a promotional Voucher, Theatre Tickets, some tangible gift products or choice vouchers. If you wish to exchange a starter kit voucher, you must do so at point of registration.

Customer Requirements

Customers must be aged 18 years or over to buy gift containing alcohol on and must provide proof of age if requested. By completing the order the customer is confirming they are aged 18 years or over. On delivery, the customer may be requested to show proof of identification (with a photograph) to verify the age of the person accepting delivery. If acceptable identification cannot be provided the goods will be returned to the supplier, but you still maybe charged or incur additional costs.

Age, Size and Health Restrictions

For safety reasons, some activities have certain size, age and health restrictions. You are required to notify GIFT and/or the provider of any relevant medical condition. Our Contact Centre/or the provider can advise of any restrictions at the time of booking.


In order to enjoy your chosen experience and to arrange a time and place for your experience you are asked to choose your preferred location then follow the booking instructions.

You may be required to send your Voucher to the chosen provider to confirm your booking in advance: if so we recommend you keep a record of your Voucher number and use registered post, as your Voucher is a valuable document. You may also be required to pay a deposit to the provider to confirm your booking in advance. This deposit will be credited back upon completion of your experience.

Customers should also note that your Voucher must be presented on the day, in order to participate in the experience. If lost, we regret that Vouchers cannot be replaced.

Please note you may not be able to change your mind once a date has been booked with a supplier.

Experience Availability and Timings

These are given as a guide only, and you may be required to wait between different elements of the experience alongside other participants.

Description and Photography

We have tried hard to ensure that descriptions, illustrations and experience titles used in the Voucher packs, in all our literature and our website are accurate, however, photographs, product and experience titles are intended to give a general idea of the product or experience described, and do not form part of any contract between you and GIFT. Please note depending on the location you choose the experience title may differ to that of experience title used by our suppliers, but this does not effect your entitlement as described in your Voucher pack.


Where applicable, the price of experience Vouchers includes the cost of providing you with personal accident insurance cover to participants up to 75 years old. This insurance cover is only included if indicated on your Voucher and is not available for activities that take place abroad. Full details of insurance cover are available on request.

If We Cancel or Change Your Experience

If we cancel your experience, we will tell you as soon as possible, and do our very best to offer an alternative date or location. If specific celebrities or vehicles are featured but are not available on the day for reasons beyond our control, we will try to find the best possible replacement. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to cancel your experience at short notice and re-book you.

We reserve the right to reschedule the timings or location of any experience owing to unavailability of the experience, insufficient numbers making the experience unavailable, and other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to discontinue an experience, venue, or individual supplier at our own discretion. We will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative experience of the same value, however, if not we will refund your Voucher in full.

If you decide to book a different experience and the price of that experience exceeds the face value of your Voucher, you will be expected to pay the difference. We also reserve the right to make minor changes to your experience. Examples of minor changes include car specification, or order of activities on a particular day.

GIFT is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or other incidental expenses incurred by you in attending an experience which is cancelled for any reason.


Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions, mechanical failure, or for other reasons beyond our control. If your experience is cancelled because of the weather, you will be able to rebook for a date on which you are able to attend. If you are unable to travel to your Experience due to bad weather but the Experience still takes place we may not be able to rebook you without an administration cost.

If You Need to Cancel or Change Your Experience Booking

You should contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel your booking. We will do our best to fill the allocated space, but if we are unable to do so, you may lose your booking. You will be advised by GIFT if you can rebook through the cancellation cover.

If you need to cancel your experience because of accidental injury/illness to yourself, or a death in your immediate family you should contact GIFT as it may be possible to re-arrange your experience on presentation of a medical certificate.

In Case of Problems

In case of a problem, please speak to the experience provider on the day, so they have the opportunity to resolve any problems there and then. Any other complaints should be emailed to GIFT for the attention of the customer service department.


If you are not satisfied with your experience Voucher pack, please email us within 28 days of purchase and we will happily arrange a full refund on receipt of your Voucher. Refunds will be paid back onto the credit/debit card used to place the original order, or by cheque. No interest will be paid on the amount to be refunded. Refunds cannot be issued once a date has been booked.

If you have purchased a non Voucher product and the product is faulty, please contact us within three working days of receipt for advice on how to return your item. Where you have validly returned a product having cancelled the order, we will refund the full amount paid by you for the product, including the cost of delivery to you. You will be responsible for returning the product to us at your own cost. Where you have validly returned a product to us because it is defective or for some other reason for which we are responsible, we will refund the full amount paid by you for the product (including the cost of delivery to you) and reimburse the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the product. Refunds will be paid back onto the credit/debit card used to place the original order, or by cheque. No interest will be paid on the amount to be refunded. When returning products to us they should be unused and in the original packaging and condition and you must take reasonable care to see that they are received by us and not damaged in transit.


We reserve the right to change experience prices without notice, provided we inform you before the experience is booked. Vouchers will not be issued until payment is collected in full. Prices in our printed material and on our website are inclusive of VAT.

Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999

A person who is not named on the face of the Voucher or experience purchase letter has no right under the Contracts (Rights of third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any terms and conditions of booking.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and are governed by and in accordance with English law. The purchaser and Gift Ideas For Two agree that any problems fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts. All the clauses and sub clauses in our terms and conditions are independent of each other. If one clause or sub clause is invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect any other clause or sub clause.

The funds on Vouchers are not covered by the Finical Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent, some funds on Vouchers may not be available to spend.
