Enjoy the beautiful estate of Arley Hall in the heart of the Cheshire countryside with a classic afternoon tea

The Lord and Lady of Arley Hall and Gardens welcomes you to their 500 year old property for an experience of opulent grandeur. The venue has been home to their family for generations and as such this beautiful estate not only offers some of the most stunning gardens in the UK, but a wonderful family history for you to learn about.

Take the time to explore Arley Hall’s award winning gardens which includes the stunning double herbaceous borders which are thought to be the first of their kind in England and the grove which boasts a large range of trees and shrubs. Enjoy the Ilex Avenue which has 14 cylindrical Evergreen Holm oaks and enjoy the woodland walk which is a particular favourite of Lord Ashbook.

As part of this decadent experience you can enjoy an afternoon tea for two within the spectacular library. With dark carved wood panels, deep red and cream furniture and beautiful antiques and books from ceiling to floor, you will certainly feel a sense of extravagance as you indulge in a timeless past time.

Whilst taking in the estate's glorious surroundings, you will also have a meet and greet session with either the Lord or Lady Ashbrook to complete your day of grandeur.

Your experience includes entrance to Arley Hall with an afternoon tea for two which will take place in the Library. You will also have full access to the historical gardens.

As part of your traditional afternoon tea, you will enjoy a selection of crust-less sandwiches filled with free range egg mayonnaise and cress, Cheshire cheese and homemade farmhouse pickle, honey roast Cheshire ham with beef tomato and smoked salmon with cucumber. You will also receive a warm chocolate fondue served with fresh strawberries, miniature fruit scones with clotted cream and homemade preserve, lemon drizzle cake and tiny raspberry meringues. To drink you will enjoy a variety of teas including English breakfast, Darjeeling, Earl Grey and a glass of Champagne each.

This will also include a meet and greet with the Lord or Lady Ashbrook.
